This 7-ply White Oak plywood has Rustic White Oak veneer on the face and a 2 Rustic on the back. This Rustic White Oak panel is made in the USA.

The sapwood of White Oak is light in color and can range from a pale yellow-brown to a greyish-white. The heartwood may be either light brown in color, or a darker brown with deep, golden tones. The distinctive coarse texture and straight grain has longer rays than Red Oak. Fasting-growing Oaks, such as those grown in the South, produce wider, more prominent growth rings.

Small conspicuous burls and pin knots is a natural characteristic of white oak.

This natural grade contains sound character marks, knots and bird pecks. Small unsound knots and larger sound knots are not considered defect. Knots are filled.

Plank match is when dissimilar (in color, grain or width) veneer leaves of the same species are specially selected and assembled in a specific order to create a particular look. This method creates a casual or rustic effect. The components may be of different widths within the panel face.
