WHITE OAK BUTCHERBLOCK
1-1/2" x 30" x 96" White Oak Glue-up
Our butcherblock countertops are ready to be cut to length and are constructed from pieces of hardwood laminated together with glue for strength and stability. Our butcherblock countertops provide a warm, organic landing surface in a kitchen, gentle on dishware and able to absorb the noise of a busy household. The wood can also be refinished if damaged, dinged, stained, or gouged.
The most common type of butcher block is made from boards placed on their sides known as edge-grain butcherblock. The pieces are glued so that the narrower edge forms the surface. Continuous lengths with no joints or random-length pieces that have been finger-jointed. These are best for large areas, like a long kitchen counter or island top. Edge-grain butcher block is more stable than other wood countertops.
