Recent design trends have created a demand for “Reed” cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and wainscot uses. This is a type of ornamental carving where reeded texture refers to a series of parallel convex grooves or lines. The reed is a 3/8" half round O.C., measured the full width of the base of the reed.

Plywood Company of Fort Worth has constructed and is now stocking panels for these uses. Panels are constructed using MDF machined by CNC processing.
