SignReady UV™ is a prefinished, high gloss, vinyl letter/ink jet/paint ready, MDO plywood with a 5-year limited warranty. It is an excellent surface for wide layout digital printers, vinyl lettering and sign paints.
SignReady UV™ is constructed of a proprietary, Urethane-acrylic, crosslinked, UV cured finished applied to hardwood face MDO plywood with Douglas Fir/Hemlock inner plys. It has a waterproof glue bond and meets APA PS 1-09.
SignReady UV™ is available with one or two working faces. Panels with a single working face are provided with an MDO backer. Solid, high gloss white finish with reflectance of 75 to 85. Urethane-acrylic, cross-linked, UV cured finish consists of three thermo-set base coats and two cross-linked, UV cured top coats. Hard, durable, chip and scratch resistant finish.
Edges are factory sawn and painted to match the face. Fill, prime and top coat all exposed wood with at least two coats of acrylic, polyurethane or polyurethane-acrylic.
